Enhanced Functionality Allows Clients to Deliver and Track PDF Invoices through eBillingHub

LOS ANGELES, June 12, 2013 – eBillingHub today announced the addition of PDF invoicing capabilities to its SaaS electronic billing platform. The new functionality enables eBillingHub clients to further centralize their billing with the ability to send and track all PDF invoices within eBillingHub, as well as view and report on when the PDF invoices have been opened by the recipient.

PDF invoicing within eBillingHub is a significant improvement in confidentiality and security over conventional email transmission of PDF invoices.

Timekeeper Rate Validation – Users now have the option to activate timekeeper validation warnings in eBillingHub that will alert them when a new billing rate is introduced on an invoice, or when a rate is higher than before for a particular timekeeper ID, title, and matter combination. These warnings provide the opportunity to confirm that the new parameters meet the client billing criteria prior to submission and therefore reduce the chance of rejection.

Editing Active Invoices – Rejected invoices can now be edited directly from the Active Invoices tracking page. This capability preserves previous edits when making new invoice corrections—all without reopening the Billing Wizard or having to duplicate old edits.

Extended Field Mapping – eBillingHub now offers users the option to store extended field values directly in the system rather than having to utilize a custom field in their time and billing database. This flexibility enables more precise field mapping at both the client and matter level and allows users to assign each matter to a different recipient rather than assigning one client to one recipient.

Automatic Submission to New Vendors – Vendor automation is what sets eBillingHub apart from more manual e-billing solutions. The company has tripled its resources to allow for automatic submission to more vendors, thus getting closer to becoming a one-stop-shop for a firm’s e-billing needs.

Performance Improvements – To maintain the advantages of deploying eBillingHub as a web-based “SaaS” application, the company has upgraded its hardware with higher-capacity servers that add more memory and faster processing power.
